Project case sharing-vmware private cloud (share 2)

This project is to pay for China Telecom wing to build Orange cloud in Nanjing, mainly to share with you the VMware vsphere6 +vsan private Cloud building.

1.1. Building goals

This is a storage environment provided by 800 NF5885 M4 host servers through Vsan storage virtualization software, using VMware vSphere6.0 and Vsan for virtualization. 2. Installing ESXi6.0

Deploying through IPMI into the system
Select virtual drive → image file → Select the ESXi6.0 custom for HP image file to mount.

Power on the server to install.

After the boot is complete, select the ESXi disc, enter

Open the administration console and select the Add Roles Wizard

Here you select an existing forest to create a new domain name, or you can join an existing forest based on the environment, here is the new domain name environment, so we create the principle in the New Forest

Enter the domain name here, enter the relevant domain name as required, click Next

Choose the version of Windows R2 here, it is recommended to use R2, otherwise choose according to the system version

A warning appears, click Yes to continue

Here is the database, log file, sysvol file save path, generally do not modify, default settings

Here the password is used for ad Restore mode, enter the password next, complete the setup, and the system restarts.

Restart the server when finished

Log on to the ad server with a domain user

After a restart, use a domain user to log on to the Ad server for all hosts to join the cluster

Log on to all host nodes, on the computer name/domain Change page in the system settings, fill in the domain name, enter the local user name password, and then restart, log in with the domain user

3.2. Windows SQL2008R2 Database Installation Insert Disc

Install the necessary plugins

After booting from the disc, follow the prompts to install the necessary. NETFramework

To install a language pack:

Click Install to start the installation process

Installing the Database

Perform a pre-database check to confirm that the firewall is actually shutting down

New database complete. 3.3. Installing vcenter Configuration ODBC

Before installing vcenter, you need to download the 64-bit SQL Native client from the Web and install it

Install the legend selection and go to the ODBC configuration interface

Select by diagram, configure ODBC

Enter a name and server where the server should be resolved with the domain name

Enter user name SA and password

Select the database table space, select Next, click Finish

Click Next to test the connection

This mode is suitable for most users.

Enter a name at the system Network name and click Next

Configure the SSO account password and site name, click Next

In the default selection, click Next

In the database setup interface, configure the external SQL database

Select the Software installation location and click Next

Confirm the installation information and click "Install"

Wait 15-30 minutes for the installation to complete, for example, click Finish.
