The implementation of qualitative risk analysis is to assess and comprehensively analyze the probability and impact of risks, and prioritize risks to provide a basic process for subsequent analysis or action.
The establishment of probability and impact levels helps reduce the impact of prejudice.
Input:
- Risk Register
- Risk management plan: includes the roles and responsibilities of risk management, budget and progress activities of risk management, risk categories, definitions of probability and impact, probability impact matrix, and modified stakeholder risk Endurance
- Project Scope
- Organizational Process assets
Tools and technologies:
- Risk probability and impact evaluation: probability is used to investigate the likelihood of each specific risk. Impact assessment is designed to investigate the potential impact of risks on project objectives (positive and negative effects)
- Probability impact matrix: Usually a query table or probability impact matrix is used to evaluate the importance of each risk and the priority of attention required. Priority measures and positive response strategies are required for areas with high matrix risks (dark gray. Threats in low-risk (moderate gray) areas may only need to be included in the observation list or added to the emergency reserve, without the need to take proactive management measures.
- Risk data quality evaluation: qualitative risk analysis should use accurate and unbiased data to ensure reliability
- Risk Classification
- Risk urgency Assessment
- Expert judgment
Output:
- Risk Register (updated ): relative ranking or priority list of project risks, category-based risks, risk causes or project fields that require special attention, list of recent risks to be addressed, and risks that need further analysis and response list, low-priority risk observation list, and trend of qualitative risk analysis results
