Protect Flower Messenger: Remote repair of the damaged system mm

For the master, the system can be restored to normal is a piece of cake, but on the contrary to the novice computer beginners, it is not easy to repair, and more people may choose to wait for expert help. If each time to wait for the master to come in person, not to say that the master has much trouble, I believe even the impaired users of their own psychological very uncomfortable. Therefore, the author will use the Remote Assistance method to help users repair their damaged system remotely.

A. Establish a remote connection with the other

First you need to know the IP address of remote host, as well as the administrator account, password, and then let its remote host users, right click on the "My Computer" icon, select the "Properties" option, in the Pop-up System Properties dialog box, cut to the top "remote" tab (Figure 1). Check the "Allow Remote Assistance invitations from this computer to be sent to (R)", "Allow users to connect to this computer (C) check box, click the" Select Remote User (S) "button, will just tell the author's user account to add to the list, you can open the remote connection Terminal Services.

In order to log on to the remote host, I click the "start → all programs → attachments → newsletters → Remote Desktop Connection" option, and in the Remote Desktop Connection dialog box, click the Options button to extend the Login Settings window (Figure 2). After you fill in the information on the remote host and click the Connect button, you can log in to the remote host operation interface immediately.

Ii. Creating an automatic responder

Since the login to the "remote host" Operation interface, you can fully control its host, then the following in the remote host, open IE browser from the Internet to create an automated response to the program to local, or remote host users to the system disk, inserted into the optical drive, and then we enter the Windows XP installation disk \ Support\Tools folder (Figure 3), open the Deploy.cab package, extract the Setupmgr.exe file into any folder, and run the "Setupmgr.exe" Installer inside, click the "Next" button, Starts creating an installed answer file.

Then select the "Create New file" option from it, click Next, and in the Installation Type page, select the "Unattended Install" radio box, so that subsequent programs automatically generate answer files and batch scripts. Next, click the Next button, go to the Product Selection page, select the corresponding Windows XP Professional checkbox, go to the User interaction page, select the All Auto option, and click Next again. In "What do you want to do?" tab, select the Create new distribution share Radio box, and then copy the Windows installation files to the f\i386 directory (Figure 4), or copy to your local hard drive. Then set the parameters, such as the name, unit, time zone, product key, such as several parameters set, under the "Path and file name" tab, enter the file store path location, click the "OK" button.

Because the generated program files can only run in Windows XP environments, we need to modify them. Here, open the file you just generated in Notepad, and change the corresponding script contents to:

Set Answerfile=d:\windist\unattend.txt

Set setupfiles=d:\windist\i386

D:\windist\i386\winnt/s:d:\windiest\i386/u:d:\windiest\unattend.txt

It is then saved so that the automatic answer file can be found so that the Unattend.txt file can read the resulting automated answer file.

Third, system installation, automatic selection

In order to install the system fully, we also need to install the Vfloppy tool in the remote host, which you can control the installation in its machine, or let the remote user install automatically.

Opens the Vfloppy client program, selects the "Install Windows XP automatically" option in the display text, and when the other settings remain by default, click the Apply button (Figure 5), and the prompt for the successful image file appears. Next, modify the Bookdisk.img file, where you open the Bookdisk.img (C:\boot\bootdisk.img) file using the Winlmage software, and then right-click Autoexec.bat to release it to the root directory of the CD drive. In Notepad, open the Autoexec.bat file in its directory and find the "echo the Diag-nostic tools were successfully loaded to drive%ramd%" line. and add the format C:/q in its echo

After the operation is complete, save it so that after the DOS is fully booted, the C disk is formatted using the Format command, and then the automatic installation system for Windows XP is started. Then use the Winlmage software again, open the Bookdisk.img file, click the "image/Add" button, add the modified Autoexec.bat file, overwriting the previous file to save it.

In order to perform the automatic installation of the system after the boot file, we click the "start → run" option, in the Open "Run" dialog box, enter the "msconfig" command return, in the pop-up System Configuration Utility dialog box (Figure 6), into "BOOT." INI tab, select the label "Automatically install Windows XP" from the list, and click the Move Up button to set it to the first boot. Restart your computer to help the remote host install the Windows XP system automatically when the above action takes effect.
