1. Start PowerPoint 2013 and open the document you want to protect. Select the Info option in the list on the left side of the File window, click the Protect Presentation button in the middle pane, and select the mark as final option in the Open list, as shown in Figure 1.

2, at this point PowerPoint will be prompted to save after the document is marked as a final version, as shown in Figure 2, after clicking the OK button, the PowerPoint pop-up Prompts dialog box prompts the current status of the document, as shown in Figure 3, and clicks the OK button. After the document is opened, the document is prompted below the ribbon to be marked as final, and the editing commands in the Ribbon are not available, as shown in Figure 4. If you need to edit the document, you need to click the still Edit button in the prompt bar that appears below the Ribbon.

If you need to cancel the final status tag on a document, simply click the Protect Presentation button in the Files window to select the mark as Final status command in the list again.
