PS CC 2014 spin blur + path blur filter use special effects instance

Open the wheel footage in Photoshop CC 2014, convert to a Smart object, copy the layer, and add a copy layer.

Use the elliptical marquee tool to create a marquee on the wheel and click on the menu "SELECT > Transform Selections".

Click the Menu "Choose > Modify > Feather" to set the parameter to 15. This facilitates the seamless articulation of each layer.

Make sure that the copy layer is selected, and then click on the layers panel below the layer mask, so that only the wheels are affected by the filter.

　　Using a rotating blur filter for wheels

The spin blur filter for Photoshop CC 2014 supports creating a spin blur along one or more points. We can set the rotation blur through center point, blur size and shape, and other setting parameters, and the whole process can see the real-time preview effect. Now we use it to enhance the rotation of the wheel.

Click the thumbnail of the copy layer, and then click the Menu "Filter > Blur gallery > Rotate blur". Reposition the ellipse over the wheel (where the heart is also coincident with the wheel) and set the parameters according to your preferences. The setting parameters here are: The rotation angle is set to 15, the flash strength is set to 15, the flash flicker is set to 2, and the flash duration is set to 3.

Generally speaking, spin blur does not cause any problems, because it only affects the wheel itself. But in the next mask to use, you need to try to blur the path without affecting the wheel.

Use path blur filter for body

The main function of path ambiguity is to allow the user to create motion blur effects along the path (Bezier curve), which we use to make the body's fast-moving effects.

Select the bottommost original layer and click on the menu "Filter > Gallery blur > Path blur" in turn. Reposition the path so that it is parallel to the ground in the original image. Similarly, without checking the Blur center box, this will result in a smoother and more directional blur. Here, the author sets the end speed parameter value of the left end to 146.

The end of the right end speed parameter values are set to 74, the next parameter settings can be set as you like, if the effect is satisfactory, you can click OK.

In this way, we seamlessly link the layers together with previous feathering, and the path blur does not affect the spin blur at all.
