This PS tutorial will teach you how to use Photoshop to create Hollywood quality movie poster fonts, as you can see on the Galactic Guard poster. Let's take a look at the effect chart:

Step 1

First we're going to create a starry background.

Create a new 1920x1280px document, fill color: #0E0C22.

Creates a new layer, fills it with black, and is named "Noise". Right-click the layer on the Layers panel and select Convert to Smart object.

Click Filter > Noise > Add Noise. Parameter settings as shown in figure:

Create a new level adjustment layer, and click the Create Clipping Mask button in its properties panel to apply the effect to the noise layer only. The parameters are set as follows:

Set the "noise" layer blending mode to "color filter".

Create a new layer on the top layer of the layers panel, fill it with black, and set the foreground and background colors to black and white, and click Filter > Render > Cloud.

Set the layer blending mode to "linear Dodge", padding to 7%.

I use the ITC Machine, it is not free, you can find some better and more suitable fonts on the Internet.

Go back to our documents, use your downloaded fonts, and create the text in color #dab277.

Press ctrl+shift+ to left-click three text layers to convert the text layer to a selection.
