Photoshop Design Glass neon text effect

In this exclusive Photoshop tutorial, you'll learn how to create a glass-textured neon text effect in Photoshop. This tutorial comes from: www.graphicmania.net

1. Enter some text first. For example "Graphic Mania" written in world's water font. The color is #00add8. Rotate the text (with the free Transform tool).

2. Add some effects to this layer: projection, inner Shadow, inner glow, pattern overlay and gradient overlay. These settings and effects are as follows. This will be a good way to change the shape of our text,

In the end you will get this effect:

3. Add some "quantity" to the text (don't know how to turn it, in short, it's the side of the text, copy the text, clear the style, make it lighter, grid it, and place it underneath the original text and move it to the lower left. Continue this step (repeat each new copy--"Move down to the left) until it looks good." These layers are then merged except for the original layer.

Add a layer style to the quantity layer: projection, outer glow, gradient overlay.

4. Add a blank layer, then select the original text layer, load the opacity option, return to the blank layer, such as the figure set stroke options. Then erase the white outline underneath the text.

5. Add some extra shadows. Copy the original text layer, clear its style, and use a black, grid layer. Then, apply some blur (Gaussian Blur, motion blur) and drag it underneath all the layers. Change the blending mode for color depth and reduce opacity (40%).

6. As for the floral decorations we are about to add, the steps are almost the same as creating the main text. Use the Blue Brush tool on the new layer. You can add the same style as the text, plus some options (such as adding strokes, adding an outer glow). These settings are similar to the main text, but you can change them to achieve a better appearance. I used 3 flowers to decorate the layer: 1-use the layer effect on the decorations, 2-Remove the layer effect, set the blending mode to strong light, 3-use black and fuzzy layers, and place them underneath the text layer. After you finish this step, the image should look like the following figure.

7. Last one O'Clock--add the effect of "glass". To do this, first add a blank layer. Select the Pen tool to create a work path such as the following figure.

Make it a selection and fill the gradient (on the blank layer).

Then load the opacity options for this layer, invert the selection, and clear the gradient area in the selection (not in the text). Copy the same action on a new layer. Use the eraser tool to erase places you don't need. OK, put it on a cool background, enjoy it.

Overall, this tutorial is not particularly good, the effect is not a special impact, we gather to live to see slightly ~
