PS in the image of the gradient in the use of a wide range, where the small series of cylindrical and spherical gradient for you to introduce the application of the gradual gradient, I hope that you know the gradient in PS Help.
Tools/raw Materials
Computer PS
Background gradient: Linear gradient (black-brown)
Create a new 600*400 canvas. (Canvas size is optional, you can choose the canvas size yourself.) We set a background gradient here, set the foreground color to black, set the background color to yellow-brown, select a linear gradient, drag from the top down, and the backdrop effect is formed.
Cylinder gradient: Linear gradient (black-white-gray-black)
1, create a new layer 1, we first draw a cylinder and then to the gradient. Select the Rectangle tool, draw a rectangle, and then select the Ellipse tool to draw an ellipse.
2, in order to confirm the rectangle and the same length as the ellipse, we can enlarge the picture to adjust. Select the Zoom tool, enlarge the picture, and then select the path Selection tool, move the ellipse path so that the left point is on the same point, and finally press Ctrl+t to adjust to the right of the ellipse to coincide.
3, after adjusting, press ENTER to confirm, and then reduce the picture to the original view. Select "Direct Selection Tool", click on "Add", point the Ellipse, click "Add", and finally click on the combination, rectangle and ellipse to synthesize a graphic. (Note: Here you select the Direct selection tool and the mouse displays a white arrow.) )
4, press Ctrl+enter key, the path into the selection, select the gradient, we set up here black and white gray gradient. Clicking on the Gradient box pops up a gradient editor. On the gradient editor click on the small icon below, the color will appear, then we can set the gradient color.
5, we set black and white black and gray gradient. Set black on the left, One-third at White, Two-thirds Gray, black on the right, and click OK. As shown in the following illustration:
6. Hold down the shift fill and pull the gradient from left to right.
7, press Ctrl+d, cancel the constituency. We're going to draw the upper part, as with the above step, to select the Ellipse tool to draw an ellipse, to overlap its points, to press Ctrl+enter, to change the path to a selection, and to pull a gradient upward.
8. Let's add a shadow to the cylinder to make it more realistic. Select a polygon set lock, draw a rectangle, probably the size of the shadow can be. On it, select-Modify-Feather, feather 3 pixel action. (The graphic above is an feathered shape with a 3-pixel-feathered graphic with a sleek edge.) )
9, create a new layer 2, drag below layer 1, select gradient, black to transparent color, or linear gradient, from the close to the cylinder to the reverse pull gradient.
Sphere gradient: Radial gradient (white-gray-white)
1, create a new layer 3, select the Ellipse tool to draw a positive circle.
2, the choice of gradient, by white-gray-white, color setting method is the same as above. Here you choose the radial gradient, from top left to bottom right, and not too close to the edge on the left. )
3, we still add shadow to the sphere. Click on the property bar selection-transform the selection, the sphere is reduced, and then click the right button, select distortion, the image deformation.
4, enter key to confirm the transformation, and then create a new Layer 4, drag it below Layer 3, select a linear gradient, black to transparent, from the ball to the direction of the ball away from the sphere to pull the gradient.
5, let us look at the final effect of the picture.
6, through the above learning, we can find that the use of the gradient, not only can make the image of three-dimensional effect, but also can reflect the intensity of the problem of light.
Here are two points to note:
1. The gradient of the sphere is a radial gradient
2. Gradient of the shadow select Black to Transparent color gradient
The above is the cylinder and the use of the ball gradient introduction, hope to be helpful to everyone!
