PS is a graphic design artifact, especially in the network era picture processing, is inseparable from PS. If you can use Photoshop handy, plus a little creativity, you'll often create stunning designs.
This tutorial shows you the basic steps of making a leaflet, which is basically ready to print and send. Of course, want to learn the design of promotional single style do not miss! Please do not put my leaflets and small ads into a talk yo, the designer's moral integrity to seize the prison!
Attention to observe will find that this tutorial is designed to promote the idea of the brochure, in fact, the overall pattern is still applicable to the Holiday promotional topic page:

Let's get to the action!
First, we create a new 216 x 154 mm document, which is the standard A5 size paper + 3 mm bleed distance. Because we are finally going to do a print, so color mode CMYK, resolution of the DPI.
Create a new guide that marks the area of the bleed. Illustrator and InDesign have this feature built into it, but in PS, we can only make this reference line ourselves. Use the Move tool (V) and shift to create and reposition guides. Make sure that the guides are parked at the ruler 3 mm position.
Repeat this to create a guide for each of the four edges, ensuring that each guide is 3 millimeters away from the edge of the document.
Background:
Create a new layer (shift+cmd/ctrl+n), fill the white foreground color (alt+backspace), and make sure that the color mode is CMYK.
Create a new gradient overlay with the Layer style panel, open the gradient overlay settings panel, push the white slider to 30%, and the Black slider to set the color--shallow yellow (c=9 m=6 y=14 k=0)
At the bottom of the layers version, find FX and add a gradient overlay. (as pictured above)
Gradient overlay related data settings.
You want to set the color.
Use the Rectangle tool (U) to create a rectangle with a size of 216 x 56 mm.
Aligns the rectangle to the upper-left corner of the document, filled with dark brown (c=49 m=74 y=80 k=70).
Use the Pen tool (P) to add a new anchor point to the bottom of the rectangle.
Using the direct Selection tool (A), use the anchor point created to turn the bottom of the rectangle into a beautiful curve.
Repeat until the rectangle is resized to look like the following illustration.
File > placement, select People-1.jpg.
Using the Move tool (V), snap the photos to the top left of the document, as shown in the following illustration.
Then create a rectangle with a size of 216 x 100 mm.
Use the Direct selection tool (A) to place the picture in the upper-left corner of the document.
On the Rectangular tool panel, select the mask to add a vector mask to the picture.
Add a new anchor point to the mask with the Pen tool (P) and make a beautiful curve with the direct selection tool (A).
Still, use the Pen tool and the direct selection tool to adjust the shape of the mask so that the picture and background shapes blend better. Notice the location of the anchor point, try not to use too many anchor points, the less the anchor point, the final effect of the curve will look smoother.
Filter > Blur > Gaussian blur, adjust radius to 6.
Select the Smart filter mask and use the gradient tool (G) to let the mask have an implicit effect.
Sets the gradient to Left-to-right.
Create a layer mask, use the Brush tool (B) to adjust, here is free to play, the way you like to toss it!
Create a new brightness/contrast adjustment layer, you can quickly select from the adjustment panel, the half black and half white small sun icon is brightness/contrast! Adjusts the brightness to 40 and the contrast to 10.
Right-click on the adjustment layer and select Create clipping mask. This applies the brightness/contrast settings to the picture only.
Create a solid color layer, using a brown fill (c=30 m=80 y=100 k=30).
Select the vector mask for the photo layer, hold down the ALT key, and drag the mask onto the color layer. This will copy the selected mask.
Use the Direct selection tool (A) to drag the anchor point in the upper-right corner to the lower-right corner.
Use the Brush tool (B) to adjust the brown layer with a transparency of 75%
Draws a rectangle with the rectangle tool (U).
Fills the rectangle with light brown (c=10 m=65 y=100 k=0).
Place the light brown rectangle underneath the dark brown layer.
Using the Pen tool (P) and the Direct selection tool (A), adjust the curve of the rectangle as shown in the following illustration.
Add text and logo
Create an ellipse with the Ellipse tool (U), with a size of 248 x 248 px, filled with brown (c=30 m=80 y=100 k=30).
Add projection, transparency set to 14%, distance of 5 px, size px.
Quickly add a projection effect from the FX button below the layers panel.
