1, open the material, select the "Magnetic Lasso tool" in the toolbox, use the tool to click on the edge of the character's lips, determine the starting point of the path, move the mouse along the edge of the lip, the path with the anchor point, the closed path automatically create a selection, the lip area selected.

TIP: Quick Close path to selection

When you use the magnetic lasso tool to create a selection, you need to click when the start and end coincide, you can close the path to create a selection, if there is no coincidence, double-click the mouse, from the double-click Position and the starting point to the path.

2. Create a hue/saturation adjustment layer in the adjustments panel for the image in the selection, set the hue to +10 in the properties panel, +35 saturation, and then see the lip area changed to show the red lip effect.

3. Load the hue/saturation layer mask as a selection, to create a "level" adjustment layer for the lip image in the selection, set the option parameter values to 7, 1, and 225 in the Properties panel, and then you can see that you have enhanced your lip with a high light effect, enhanced lip illumination, and removed the dim effect.
