PS How to whiten teeth
Before you start using the Dodge tool, here are the things you need to know about white teeth in Photoshop.
All changes affecting the overall image, such as color, saturation, color level, contrast, should be the first, and then the details of the editing and repair.
Here is the original diagram with the above modifications. As you can see, there are two main problems with this portrait, the light yellow on the teeth and the gap between some teeth.
The first step is to duplicate the layer, the layer name can be customized, but "teeth" is a good choice! Now, go to the key part of the whole operation--Select the part of the image that you want to edit. At the same time, the magic wand and its associated tools are great for some tasks, and here we want a more complex tool--a quick mask. Select Quick Mask mode as long as you click on the right side of the two buttons that are circled red in the image below. Double-click it to adjust the color and transparency of the mask.
When I trim a portrait, the default color of "red" is really an unfortunate choice, so I changed it to light green so that I could see what I was doing. Quick Mask Mode in collaboration with the brush, you can create a new exact selection, save it, and reload it when you need it. This way, you just have to make a choice, and then try a lot of tweaking, so you don't have to repeat the selection process again and again.
When you are ready, select a 100%-hardness short brush and use it to start drawing on the copied layer. Basically, you have to smear all your teeth, but don't put them on your gums or lips. Error, the modification is also very simple, as long as the selection of background color and foreground color of the sample, and then coated in the color of the error can be.
If you look closely at the picture above, you will see that I have already painted nearly half of my teeth and the rest of my teeth are still painted. Switching masks, fading the coating, 200%-400% high magnification allows you to cover the area you want to work on later. When you are done, click Select > Save Selection, and then save your quick mask for later use. Now, switch to standard mode and click Select > Reverse in the main menu. I often feather my constituency slightly to avoid the rough conversion effect, where I chose a pixel value of 0.5. You have now chosen and feathered your teeth, and the fun is about to begin.
Select the main menu image > Adjust > Hue/saturation, select Yellow in the pop-up menu. Now, reduce the saturation to around 80, and click OK. Switch to the Toolbox's Dodge tool again, setting the range to midtones, with a exposure of 15%. Instead of selecting a small brush, make the brush as thick as possible so that you can paint the entire selection.
When you paint a selection, the tool is only valid in this constituency, not the whole picture. In Photoshop, White teeth, just select a large brush in the selection, each point, the selection will be more white. Be careful, don't go too far, unless you're doing "white-whiter toothpaste ads." With a happy mood, cancel all selected, enjoy your work!
Remember the gap between the teeth? They haven't been removed! A selection smudge tool, and then carefully connect the white sides of the gap to each other. On both sides of the process, you can almost sew the gap between the teeth, but do not let them completely disappear, it will look very unnatural.
After completing this step, select the Dodge tool with a hardness of about 80%, and a small brush, then gently light the gap between the teeth or any other small place you want to brighten. With a 300%-400% magnification, but switch frequently to the panorama to see the effect.
