This tutorial introduces a simple crystal style icon making method. Ideas and processes are relatively simple, as long as the pen tool to check out the selection of objects, and then fill the gradient, and then appropriate plus the high light and darkened, crystal effect came out.

Final effect
1, a new 600 * 600 pixel file, background fill white. Create a new layer and use a pen to check out the selections shown in Figure 1.
Figure 1
2, select the Gradient tool, color settings, such as Figure 2, pull out the linear gradient shown in Figure 3.

Figure 3
3. After locking the layer, select the selection shown in Figure 4 with the Rectangular tool section, choose the Gradient tool, and set the color setting as Figure 5, pull out the linear gradient shown in Figure 6.

4. Create a new layer and use the pen to check out the selection in Figure 7 to fill the black.

5. Create a new layer and use the Pen tool to check out the selections shown in Figure 8 and pull the linear gradients shown in Figure 9.

6, create a new layer, using the Pen tool to check out the high light part of the selection, such as Figure 10, fill white. Then deselect the selection, add the layer mask, and pull the transparency with a black and white linear gradient as shown in Figure 11.

8, the key parts of the production. Create a new layer, use the pen to tick the selection shown in Figure 13, and then pull the linear gradient shown in Figure 14, which works like Figure 15.

11. Create a new layer and use the pen to check out the selection shown in Figure 18 and fill it with white. Then apply the darkened part with a gray brush, and the brush opacity is set to: 10% or so, the effect is shown in Figure 19.
