Tutorial using mixed-mode and matte effects to make page buttons

Open Photoshop and create a new blank document.

To keep the white background from appearing boring, add a gradient overlay effect. The gradient color is # f3f3f3 to # C6C6C6.

Select the Rounded Rectangle tool to create the main shape of the button, with a radius of 5 px.

Adds a gradient overlay layer style. Gradient colors from #0d3079 to #557bc9.
