PS Mouse Draw socket icon Tips

Before the tutorial starts

When creating icons from real-life objects, it's a good idea to look at those objects and see how they look. When you're done, go ahead and start sketching out how you want you to look at the icons.

Step 1th the canvas created at the 400x400 pixel of the DPI

The first thing we need to do in the 2nd step is to create the shape of the socket. To do this, select the Rounded Rectangle tool and draw a simple rectangle. You can see your newly created path in the path palette next to the Layer palette. Now, using the Free Transform path tool, you can change its size on the Edit menu, or by selecting Cmd/ctrl + T, as shown below
