Filters friends often use Photoshop to figure out some geometry, word by curve, and so on. But this often puzzles the people, because in Photoshop does not have this function at all. Ask the prawn on the Internet, often tell you to use CorelDRAW or illustrator to complete the production. So you have to spend hundreds of megabytes of space illustrator these big guys, and then in which to draw out the graphics file, and finally in Photoshop to deal with. It's not too wasteful to use these big things just to draw some simple graphics, and it's not very handy. What to do?! In fact, it is very simple to install the photo graphics filter produced by Extensis Company and everything is solved.

First download this filter in the software download in design.cnroot.com, about 3 m in size. It is then installed in the Plug-ins directory of Photoshop (like the installation of most filters). When we started Photoshop, we found that there was a Extensis submenu in the Filter menu, and there was only one command--photo Graphics in this submenu .... Select this command and we will find an interface that pops up a filter. It looks similar to Photoshop, has a toolbox on the left, a floating surface on the right, and a refreshing interface.

First let's look at the tools available in the Toolbox. Although the tools provided in this filter are not as much as Photoshop's, they are sufficient. The toolbox includes mobile tools, text tools, line tools, pen tools, rectangular tools, round tools, polygon tools, zoom tools, color-absorbing tools, rotation tools, hand tools, and magnification tools. and the settings for the bounding and fill colors. These tools are similar to illustrator's tools, and if you're a illustrator, you'll get started quickly.

The first move tool that you can use to move the drawing, as well as the nodes on the graph. Using the method and the use of all the graphics software's mobile tools, here's a little hassle.

The second tool is the Text tool. When used in general state we will find that there is a text area around the text limit, we can change the size of the text area by dragging the restriction box with the mouse. We can also let the text by the path of emissions. First draw a geometry or curve, and then use the Word tool to click on the edge of the geometry or curve, which is the input text is arranged according to the edge of the geometry, very convenient.

Double-click the tool Text Tool we found a dialog box in which we can create new or edited text styles. Press New ... (new) or edit ... (edit) and duplicate ... (copy) We can set the style of the text in the pop-up dialog box, such as text size, font, word spacing, font scaling, bold, italic, and so on.

The third tool is a line tool. Using it we can draw a straight line. method, like any other software, is not much to say.

The fourth tool is the pen tool. With this tool we can easily draw a curve. Just like illustrator. Each node has two control points, and with these two control points we can regulate the curved shape of the curve.

The fourth tool is the rectangular tool. The tool is used to draw rectangles, of course. Right here. Double-clicking the tool icon also pops up a dialog box. When we select the Enable Round corners (allow fillet) option, the rectangle that is drawn is the rounded rectangle. The bottom horiznal radius (horizontal radius) and vertical radius (vertical radius) are used to adjust the parameters of the radius.

The fifth is a circular tool for drawing circles. Method is the same as other software.

The sixth tool is the Polygon tool. Double-click this icon to sides (edge) in the pop-up dialog box to adjust the number of edges. The Star shape (Star) option lets you convert a polygon to a star shape. Radius (RADIUS) is used to adjust the radius of the star shape.

The next tool is the Zoom tool. It allows us to scale the graph in equal proportions. Use the same method and its graphics processing software.

The seventh tool is the color-absorbing tool. Using it, we can draw the colors in the picture as easily as Photoshop.

The eighth tool is the rotation tool. We use it to easily rotate the graphics. As with illustrator, when we rotate the graph there is a central point, we can use the mouse to move the center point, and change the way the rotation.

The Nineth and tenth tools are hand tools and magnification tools respectively. The two tools, like the tools in Photoshop, allow us to change the view of the preview to make it easier for us to manipulate the graphics.

Like Photoshop, there is a floating panel on the right side of the interface. There are four labels--text (text), Layer (layer), color (color), Option (action) on the floating panel. Like Photoshop, we can also drag the tag to make it a separate floating panel. Let's take a closer look at the role of the parameters in the floating face class.

In the text label we see that the text here is a lot of parameters, almost all of the words can be thought of the operation. In the dropdown menu we can select the font. There is a button on the right side of the font Pull-down menu, and in this key you can let us set the font to bold, italic, bold, and italic. Below this button, we can see a button that has an icon for a new page. By pressing this button, we found a window with the edit Character style. In this window we can edit the style of the font and save this font style for our next use. And next to a pen button pressed, we can edit the saved style, which is the same as double-clicking the text key in the toolbox. The next key must look at the icon you can identify-left, right, center, distributed alignment and horizontal text, vertical text. The eight keys below the font drop-down menu are normal, bold, italic, underline, superscript, subscript, uppercase, and lowercase letters. The following parameters are the font size, line spacing, baseline position, font width, font height, and word spacing, respectively, from top to bottom.

We can easily choose the color in the colors label. Like Photoshop, we can choose the color mode--rgb, CMYK, grayscale mode, HSB mode, etc. in the arrow in the upper right corner of the floating panel, so that we can easily choose the color. The lower part of the floating panel is a commonly used color. Of course, we can also add the usual color. By pressing the new button at the bottom of the floating panel, we can quickly add color to our common colors.

We can control the layer in the layer. The level of control here is quite similar to the illustrator layer control. You can create a new layer by pressing the new button at the bottom of the floating panel, and the Delete button next to it is, of course, the deletion layer. Each layer has a different color, and when we choose an object, we can know exactly what layer it is in. In front of the layer there are two buttons with eyes and pen, which enable us to hide layers and prevent editing layers. The Opacity slider is used to regulate the transparency of the layer, as is the case with most graphics software.

The Options tab contains a parameter adjustment for the sideline. The stroke is used to adjust the thickness of the edges; the miter is used to adjust the angle of the corner; the three keys in caps are used to adjust the shape of the end of the segment; The three keys in the joints are used to control the shape of the corner; The following close option controls whether closed graphics are closed Opacity is used to adjust the transparency of the line, and the last slider is used to adjust the degree of anti-aliasing of the line.

Now let's look at the commands in the menu bar. The menu bar of this filter contains--file, Edit, Graphic, Text, View, Windows, help seven menus.

In the File menu we can see the operation that contains most of the files here. The new command is our most common command, where there is no more ink; Open from Image ... Command we can open a file with the save with image. The advantage of this is that we can save the edited graphics and images to make it easier for us to edit the graphics of Extensis Photo graphics later (note that this is a special graphic format for extensis Photo graphics); Open The last applied command can turn on the graphics we edited for the final time; the Save with Image command is, of course, the previous reference to saving graphics and images together; The command is, of course, to save the file; The revert command can restore all your drawings to the original state, which is the same as the revert command in Photoshop; Edit Drawing ... The command can rename, delete, and so on, using the image file that we saved with the save with image. Save to Disk ... The command can save the graph drawn by extensis Photo Graphics as a separate file with a xdf suffix (note that you can only save the graphic here, but not the image as save with image; The Open from Disk ...). The command, of course, is to open the saved XDF file; The Apply command is to apply the drawing to the current image; The Apply with erase command erases the image on the current layer, leaving only the drawing; apply to New The layer command is to build the drawing on a new layer; I don't need to talk about it.

Some of the edited commands are included in the Edit menu. Undo, Redo, cut Copy Paste Delete These commands are the most common commands here is not much to say. The past in front and past in the back of this menu can paste the copied graphics in front of or behind other shapes; The duplicate command can multiply the graphics; Select All and select The None command, of course, is to select all graphics or give up the choice; in preferences we can set the extra workspace workspace size, Undo/redo number of times, and guides grid and image in the pop-up dialog box. Border the color of the graphics boundary.

The graphic menu contains commands for graphics operations. Bring to Front, Bring Forward, send backward, send to back the function of the four commands is to organize and arrange the order of the graphics, which can be placed to the front, forward, placed to the rear and placed to the last side; Group grouping commands are also a common command in graphics processing software, which can group graphics and facilitate graphical management; The ungroup function is to undo the grouping; the lock and unlock all commands can be locked or unlocked. Using these two commands prevents the graphics from being inadvertently altered, and the Hide and show all commands can hide or unhide the graphic;

The offset command allows us to move the graphic exactly. In the pop-up dialog we can adjust the position of the graph according to the values of the horizontal horizontal and the vertical vertical, or we can arrange the position of the graph by the moving distance distance and the moving angle angle.

The scale command allows us to accurately scale the graphics. In the dialog box that pops up, we adjust the scale of the graph exactly by the values of the horizontal horizontal and the vertical vertical. There is a constrain proportion option below. When this option is selected, the scaled graph is scaled proportionally to the aspect ratio.

The rotate command also allows us to rotate the graphic precisely. The use of the method is also very simple, in the pop-up dialog box to fill in a precise angle to allow the graphic to be filled with the angle of rotation.

The last few commands are relatively simple, they can make the graphic horizontal flip, vertical flip, clockwise rotation 90 degrees, counterclockwise rotation 90 degrees, rotating 180 degrees.

The text menu actually moves the commands and parameters on the floating panel to this menu. There's no more pen and ink here.

The commands for the diagram are set in the View menu. Zoom in, Zoom out, Zoom 100%, fit in view the set of commands to enlarge the diagram, reduce the diagram, zoom to 100%, suitable for preview; the display at resolution command allows the drawing to be displayed in the most precise manner; Default Preview the default display allows the diagram to show only the layers being drawn, and the composite Preview command can display all of the layers and drawing graphics; Drawing only command only shows the drawing and hides other images; hide The edges command hides the bounds of the selected object, the Hide rulers command hides the ruler in the filter, the Hide Guides command hides the guides, and the Snap to Guides command allows the object to absorb the guides; Lock guides and clear Guides can lock guides and clean guides.

Windows menu allows you to hide or display toolbars and various floating panels.

Help is helping. Read this article still don't know can see here.

After mastering the software, some simple graphics can completely discard the large vector software such as illustrator and CorelDRAW.
