Today, I'm trying to make a rock font, and then I'm going to share my production process with you.
Font effects:
Effects placed on the background
First, the synthetic background
This tutorial mainly introduces the writing process, so the background will look a bit rough. I'm sorry, besides, three of materials, including primitive people, mountains and rainforests, were found on the internet and mixed together.
Post-synthetic background
Then, the font that makes the rock effect
One: Choose a suitable font, hard point is the best.
Second: deformation, according to the overall layout to choose the right deformation effect
Three: Custom
Select anchor points and drag to achieve the desired effect
Four: Increase the thickness
Copy a shape layer and place it below. You can then also change the shape by dragging the anchor point.
Five: Increase the crack
Add two anchor points to the left and right. Drag one out and add color and outer strokes to the shape.
VI: Enhanced High light
Copy the shape layer and move it down a few pixels. Find non-overlapping areas by copying and pasting.
Then, use the Pen tool to select areas that require high light. Find overlapping areas by copying and pasting.
When the shape is done, change the color to white and choose the soft light mixing effect.
Seven: Adding shadows
Add a shadow to the bottom of the picture in the same way as above. 20% Black is the best choice.
Eight: Strengthen the surface stereo effect
You can do whatever you want with this step.
Nine: Improve the bottom of the stereo effect
You can also do whatever you want with this step. Add the bottom stroke to the underlying shape layer after you finish drawing.
Ten: Add Textures
Finally, you need to add some effects, such as noise, texture, oil painting and sharpening.
Enlarge the picture to see the effect. You'd better draw a bigger one at the beginning, so it will be easy to adjust later.
