  Step 1

Create a new layer with the following parameters:

Rectangular tool with a foreground color of #808080. A rectangle that 164 x 235 pixels. Rename the layer to "Glass upper".

  Step 3

Path Selection tool, select the rectangle, as shown in the figure four black selected anchor points. Select the Pen tool to create 8 anchor points in the diagram where the arrows are pointing. Next, we will edit the point to change the shape of the rectangle to the top of the hourglass.

  Step 4

We will edit the key points with the Convert Anchor Point tool and direct selection tool. With the transform Anchor Point tool, we will expand the handle from the anchor point. With the selection tool, remove the two bottom corner points of the rectangle. Edit the graphic as shown in the figure. This will help establish the upper hourglass of the neck.

  Step 5

Copy the "Glass Upper" layer. Type "Glass Lower" in the copied Layer options box, and then click OK. Then Edit > Transform path > Vertical flip (ctrl+t). Place the "Glass lower" layer as shown in the following figure. This is the lower part of the hourglass.

  Step 6

Double-click the Glass lower layer to open the Layer style window. The gradient overlay, as shown in the following illustration.

Copy "Glass Upper" layer style to "Glass lower", gradient overlay gradually, reverse selection.

  Step 8

Open the Glass lower Layer style window, select Blend internal effects into group in blending options, and then reduce the fill opacity to 35%. The same is true of "Glass Upper".

  Step 9

Select the two "Glass lower" and "Glass upper" layers. Then from layer layer > New > Group or (ctrl+g). Rename Group "Glass UPR + lwr".

  Step 10

Create a new layer on the background layer. Name the new layer "Bg GRD," and then double-click it to open the Layer style window. The layer style is set as follows.

First, inside the shadow, the parameters are as follows.

Click the "Glass UPR + lwr" group, ctrl+j the replication group, rename this group Glass UPR highlights + shadows, and then click the "Glass Upper" layer in the copied group to remove the layer style. Rename this layer as "Glass Upper Shadow Edge 1". Fill in Black (#000000).

  Step 12

Select > Modify > Shrink. 2 px, click OK. Select > Modify > Feather again, feather the RADIUS field 2 px, then click OK.

  Step 13

Press the DELETE key to delete the selected range. Layer opacity is 30.

  Step 14

Press the CTRL key again to click the Glass upper layer selection. Then create the name "Glass Upper Shadow Edge 2"

The new layer is on the "Glass Upper Shadow Edge 1". Select > Modify > to 6 pixel value.

  Step 15

Then select > Transform Selection. Drag the top and bottom middle handles of the border to elongate.

  Step 16

Select the fill Black (#000000). Then select > Modify > 4 pixel values. Delete by pressing the DELETE key. Then filter > Blur > Gaussian blur, set the radius to 2 pixels. Reduce layer opacity to 20.

Add the "Glass Upper Shadow Edge 1" layer of the layer mask by clicking the Add Layer Mask button in the Layers panel.

Choose a soft brush black color and 50% opacity. Then wipe the mask, hide the top and bottom edges.

  Step 18

In the "Glass Upper Shadow Edge 2" layer of the mask to erase the text "" Y shape.

  Step 19

Return to the "Glass upper" layer. Add a layer mask like the following image is hidden in the lower part of the neck of the glass.

Follow the same process in the "Glass lower" layer.

Create a "Glass highlight UPR sides" at the top of the "Glass Shanghai Film Line edge 2" layer on the new layer. Follow the same method, such as the shadow of the edge and the white shape created in the shape of the "Glass Upper Shadow Edge 2" layer. Change layer opacity to 30%.

Select the Pen tool to create a white shape like that on the "Glass highlight UPR sides" layer. Rename this layer to "Glass highlight UPR Left" and select Grid. Gaussian blur, and add a layer mask. Black Soft brush 50% transparency, wipe the right side in the mask, and then the opacity of the layer 70%.

Also create "Glass highlight UPR right". Opacity is 70%.

Ctrl-click the "Glass Upper" layer selection. Create a "Glass UPR right edge up" layer in "Glass highlight UPR"

Above Select the color to fill with white. Continue a small portion of the above and delete the part like the picture below.

  Step 25

Add a layer mask, like the following picture. Highlighting will be more pronounced on the right than on the left. Layer opacity is changed to 70%.

Create a new layer named "Glass UPR highlight mid". With a 30-pixel soft brush white. Draw a line again, then Edit > Transform > Distort. Drag the bottom handle of the bounding box to the lower part of the taper.

Add a layer mask to this layer, cover up the upper and lower parts, integrated into one. The opacity of the layer is changed to 10%.

  Step 28

Follow the same process as "Glass UPR highlight mid" contains a white shape named "Glass UPR Edge highlight left" to create a new layer. Then cover up some of the hidden parts of it. Then the opacity of the layer changes to 50%.

Also create "Glass UPR left edge up" layer.

Just take the pen tool to create two black shapes like the following. So the opacity of these two layers changes to 30%. The names of these two shape layers will be Glass joint shadow UPR right and Glass joint shadow left.

Next, we'll create three small shapes on the neck area of the hourglass. However, they should be "Glass UPR highlights + shadows" on the three floor. You can build these three levels on the basis of the last layer (that is, "Glass joint Shadow UPR left") and drag them down. So, use the pen tool to create a black shape similar to the following figure. The name of the new shape layer will be "Glass joint mid Shadow" and opacity 40%.

Create a shape like the following picture.

Select the shape layer, go to the window > path, and open the path panel.

Make sure the path is selected in the path panel. Then click the option Bar of the Path action button above and select-Group the shapes.

Then create another shape within the same shape layer.

Complete shape layer grid, low radius (2-3 PX) Gaussian blur. Layer opacity is changed to 40%.

  Step 32

Also create a white shape like the following picture.

But there is no need for Gauss to blur it. Change the opacity of the layer to 50%.

  Step 33

Copy Group "Glass UPR highlights + shadows". Rename the replicated group to "Glass LWR highlights + shadows" and drag down the "Glass UPR highlights + Shadows" 5 Group below. Then, ctrl+t, flip vertically. As shown in Figure placement.

Expand the Glass LWR highlights + Shadows Group and delete the Glass UPR highlights + Shadows Group where we created the shapes previously. Because they overlap, we only need the upper part of the shape.

  Step 34

Create a name "Base UPR + lwr" group on the "Glass UPR + lwr" layer, under "Bg GRD". Using the ellipse and rectangle tools,

and properly deformed to create the following shapes.

Use the Anchor Point tool and the direct selection tool. As shown in the picture, put together. The name of the shape layer is "base UPR large surface" and "base UPR large side".

Copy these two layers and rename them "base UPR small surface" and "base UPR small side". 。 and adjust its size, as shown in the figure placement.

Double-click the Base UPR large side layer to open the Layer style window. Here is the gradient overlay setting:
