Photoshop to create a cartoon character tutorial, you can do one.
Original Author: I have been thinking about making one of my favorite cartoon characters, Agatha Christies's Detective Hercules Paolo, and I've always imagined him as a man of great will and seriousness. It's an interesting idea for me to be such a smart but grumpy cartoon character. So I painted it in pencil and painted it with Photoshop CS3.
Story background: Hercules Polo is a fictional Belgian detective Agatha Christie, like Miss Marple, who is one of the most famous characters of the author, a long-lived figure who published 33 novels and 51 short stories about Paolo in 1920-1975 years, In that era a wave of popular frenzy-Wikipedia. Step 1
First, I drew a picture of him walking on the streets of London, and I chose the city because of its mysterious atmosphere and long history. He is looking for a mental patient, the one hidden in the corner.
Step 2
Then I separate all the colors. I will build from dark to light, and set the light source on the screen from the beginning. His lamp, the moon, and some unseen light, are about to illuminate the killer.
Step 3
I began to apply a wide range of "smear", and I wanted to study the way light shone on the face and clothes of Paolo. Notice that I painted a "very bright yellow lamp," so I used some strong orange. This is the effect created on the skin. And to leave some shadows, create darker, purple areas around his face.
Step 4
Here, I further modify the brightness of his face.
Step 5
Add light to the hand and there are two light sources including the moon. For the light, be aware that I replaced orange with blue. You can see the effect in the back of his ear. In addition, I further described his suspicious eyes.
Step 6
Continue to paint the light part on his head and hands.
Step 7– Step 11
Continue to enrich other parts, (omit 1000 words here ...) Get the following:
Step 12
Now let's portray the killer. Let's start by doing the same thing we did to Paolo, imagining the second oil lamp outside my frame and illuminating him. Here you can see that I use orange on his hand. In addition, I quickly painted his shadow on the wall.

Next continue to paint more details, find the stone texture applied on the ground, enrich the architectural details, paint the sky with a small star brush, and then omit 1000 words ...
OK, this is done, hehe ...
