In these procedures, I will show you how to draw a complex vector pattern from a simple element, how to turn a simple italicized word into a title and give a new vision.

And all of this will be made using the basic tools of PS and AI. In PS we will use a hybrid style tool and a color blending layer, and in AI we will make it through the path displacement options and custom strokes.

Once you have mastered these techniques, you will be able to show more "mocking" effects in your work.

1. Open AI, we will be a handsome title design placed into the A4 canvas. I chose serif Gothic Std (font) to make my main title, but you can also use any non-linear font.

Draw and overlay Some plant-like shapes, and set a light-colored stroke, placing it behind the title.

2. Strokes for text 6px using the stroke style of the Round Cap and Round joints. This will use Black to bold original text. Copy and paste text to a new layer,

Then select the contour Stroke (Object > Path > Contour stroke). Next, select the path of the extension, convert all the lines to objects, and select the Combined Path button in the Path Finder panel.

3. Next, we need to create two changes in the internal path. Select each letter, then object > Path > Path displacement. Try setting two different spacing: -0.5mm and -1mm.

Then, use the 0.5pt and 1.5pt strokes, and then set the stroke to 100 in the Setup Panel, setting the spacing to 5.

4. Sometimes the automatic displacement will appear redundant strokes, you can control the strokes, by increasing the reduction to make smooth strokes.
