Please enter the interface of the master router A to view and record the following: Wireless signal name, wireless encryption mode, wireless password, wireless channel (channel please manually set one), as shown in the following figure.

1, Login tl-wr842n Router settings interface, click "Wireless Settings"--> "Wireless basic Settings"--> "SSID" set to the same as the main router a--> "channel" Selection: 6 (same as the main router a)--> tick "open wds"-- > click "Scan".

2, in the results of the scan to find the main router a SSID (WiFi name), and then click "Connect."

Note: If the main router a signal is not found in the scan results, place the primary router A and the secondary router B closer.

3. "Key Type" selection: Wpa-psk/wpa2-psk (same key type as main router a)--> "key" Input: 1a2b3c4d (same as master Router A's key)--> click "Save".

Warm tip: Click to save, the router will be prompted to restart, here first do not restart, directly set.

4, set tl-wr842n Router wireless security: Click the "Wireless Settings"--> "Wireless security Settings"--> select "Wpa-psk/wpa2-psk"--> "PSK password" input: 1a2b3c4d (the same as the main router a PSK password) --> Click "Save".

5, shut down the tl-wr842n DHCP server: Click the "DHCP Server"--> "DHCP service"--> "DHCP server" select: Do not enable--> "save."

6, modify tl-wr842n router LAN port IP: Click the "Network Parameters"--> "LAN Port Settings"--> "IP Address" modified to:192.168.1.2--> click "Save".

Click Save, you will be prompted to restart the router, click "OK" to restart it

Note the problem:

(1) If the host router A's setting URL is: 192.168.1.1, then the sub-router B (tl-wr842n) LAN port IP address is modified to: 192.168.1.2.

(2) If the host router A's setting URL is: 192.168.0.1, then the sub-router B (tl-wr842n) LAN port IP address is modified to: 192.168.0.2.

After the reboot, enter the TL-WR842N modified LAN port IP address login (192.168.1.2 or 192.168.0.2) in the browser.

Then click "Run Status"--> to view "Wireless status"--> "WDS status", which indicates success, which means that the WDS bridging settings were successful.
