For me, Ubuntu's Live CD is good enough, but it's too bulky. I need a small Linux Live CD. Mention live CD can not mention Knoppix, this is made by the German Klaus Knopper version, but today I want to introduce a small damn Small Linux, size is less than 50M, can be burned into a CD-ROM or into a U disk, This allows you to carry Linux with you.
Although it is small in size, it is spite. Basically has an operating system all the prerequisite software, such as FTP, web browser, music player, text editor, mail client, USB support and so on.
If you do not want to use disc burning, you can use WinImage to write a DSL to the U disk (U disk requires a boot function). I would like to remind you that flash memory (Flash Disk)-like life in between read and write 1 million times. Running an operating system requires frequent reading and writing of u disk, which may affect the life of your U disk. How to choose, it depends on you.
