Python is used to write computationally intensive programs that are certainly not fast in C, because C is directly compiled into a CPU-understood language. And I/O-intensive programs, because I/O devices are much slower than the CPU, the speed of the two is almost the same, and Python uses the process to do asynchronous I/O, it is very suitable for writing I/O intensive programs.
