When the terminal writes a Python script, it often finds errors when the script is written. If some code is not running, errors in it will not be checked. This is because Python is a dynamically interpreted language. This differs from the global syntax that can be found when compiling static languages such as C with GCC.

Inspection tools are Pyflakes, Pylint, PEP8, Flake8 and so on. Here's a simple check with pyflakes.
