Python handles HTML escape characters

It is annoying to catch a string of HTML escape characters such as > or   that are often encountered in grabbing web data.

Let's say a string caught from a Web page

p = ' <abc> '

This can be handled in Python:

Import'<abc> ' txt= html.unescape (p)print (TXT)

#这样就得到了txt = ' <abc> '

If you want to turn back, you can:

Import= cgi.escape (HTML)print(q)

#这样又回到了 html = ' &lt;abc&gt '
