A list derivation means that another list is created from one list.

The elements in the list are derived from other sequences, objects that can be iterated, or a sequence created that satisfies certain conditions.

For example, suppose we want to create a list of square numbers, such as:

Squares = [] for in range:    squares.append (x**2)print( Squares)

The output is:

[0, 1, 4, 9, 16, 25, 36, 49, 64, 81]

We can also get the same list in the following way:

 for  in range (10)]
