Python standard library: Built-in function all (iterable)

Source: Internet
Author: User

Returns Trueif all the elements of an object that can be iterated are all non-empty (or an empty iteration object). This function is mainly used to determine whether the list, tuples, dictionaries and other objects have empty elements, such as a list of 10000 elements, if you do not provide this function, you need to use a loop to implement, then the calculation will be slower. This function is equivalent to the function of the following code:

def all (iterable):

For element in iterable:

If not element:

Return False

Return True

Example:

Example of a #all () function A = []B = {1:2, 2:3}c = (1, 3, ', 5) d = [1, 2, None]print (' A: ', all (a), ' B: ', all (b), ' C: ', "All (c), ' d: '," All (d ))

The output results are as follows:

A:true b:true C:false D:false
