Python string processing: Filtering English and symbols in strings, preserving Chinese characters

Using the Python re module, the RE module provides re.sub to replace matches in a string.

1 re.sub (pattern, Repl, String, count=0)

Parameter description:

Pattern: regular-heavy pattern string

REPL: The string to be replaced

String: The original string to be used for substitution

Count: The maximum number of times a pattern match is replaced, omitting the default is 0, which means replacing all matches

For example

Import"hello,world!! %[545] Hello 234 world ...  "= Re.sub ("[a-za-z0-9\!\%\[\]\,\. ]"", str)print(str) Output: Hello World
