I. Introduction

A Data Structure is a collection of data elements that are organized together in some way.

Sequence is the most basic data structure in python. python contains six built-in sequences: List, tuples, strings, Unicode strings, buffer objects, and xrange objects.

Ii. Use

For example, if you want to use a list to store the user name and age, you can create a list in python:

Dotgua = ['dotgua', 24]

This is very like an array, but here we can see that different data types can be stored in the list.

Common Operations

Basic operations on the list include: Index, slicing, adding, multiplying, and member check.
