I am using vs2008. I believe vs2005 should be similar to this step. The following message is always prompted during running:
Fatal error c1083: Unable to open include file: "Gl/glut. h": no such file or directory
At this time, perform the following operations:
Download the glut toolkit, and then:
1. Unpack the downloaded package and obtain 5 files.
2. Put the extracted glut. h In the C:/program files/Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0/VC/include folder.
3. Place the extracted glut. lib and glu32.lib in the C:/program files/Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0/VC/lib folder of the static function library.
4. Put the extracted glut. dll and glu32.dll In the System32 folder under the operating system directory.
5. Run again. If an error persists, change the header file name # include <Gl/glut. h> to # include <glut. h>.
6. The operation is successful now.
The glut Toolkit can be downloaded in my workspace. It has been uploaded!
