[Quarter Kit] charging station and mobile APP control camera shooting method

A wearable camera is a small and lightweight camera that can be used with a variety of accessories and can be worn on the body or fixed on other objects at will, it provides you with a distinctive shooting perspective and innovative shooting experience.

Before shooting, confirm the following two points:

1The camera has been paired with the charging seat();

2The camera has been started().

The Camera Power indicator on the left side of the charging station is green, as shown in the following figure:

The following describes how to use a charging station and a mobile APP to control camera shooting.

I. Use a charging station for shooting

When the charging seat is powered, you can use the shutter key on the right of the charging seat to control the camera for shooting no matter whether the camera is on or off. As shown in the following figure:

Portal key usage:

Click the shutter key & mdash; to take the photo;

Double-click the shutter key & mdash; to enable the video recording function, click the single-host shutter key again to terminate the video;

Long press the shutter key & mdash; to execute the continuous shooting function. After you release the shutter key, you can stop taking continuous photos. The maximum number of consecutive screenshots per time is 30.

Note:: During camera photography or video recording, the screen of the charging station does not display real-time shooting images. You can view the number of videos and photos you have taken.

2. Use a mobile phoneAPPShooting

Scan the QR code below to download and install the TP-LINK camera APP:

Note:: Apple mobile phone can also enter & ldquo; TP-LINK camera & rdquo; in the App Store to search and download the APP.

2, Add a camera

When using the APP for the first time, you need to add a camera. Open the TP-LINK camera APP, click & ldquo; add new device & rdquo;, and then select & ldquo; camera & rdquo;, as shown below:

At this point, the page prompts to enable the Camera. After confirming that the Camera Power indicator on the left side of the charging station is green, Click & ldquo; I have enabled the Camera & rdquo;, as shown below:

Note:: The charging seat does not need to be turned on. If the camera has enough power, it does not need to be embedded in the charging seat ,.

The phone APP uses Wi-Fi to control the camera, and connect the phone to the camera's Wi-Fi signal (the default is TP-LINK_CAM_XXXX) according to the interface prompts, as shown in the following figure:

Note:: After a mobile phone is connected to the camera's Wi-Fi, you can still use the mobile phone traffic to access the Internet.

Return to the APP interface, Click & ldquo; I have connected to the camera Wi-Fi & rdquo;, modify the camera's wireless parameters as prompted, and Click & ldquo; OK & rdquo;, as shown in the figure below:

Note:: The wireless signal of the camera is only used to connect to the mobile phone APP and cannot access the Internet. The wireless signal set here must be different from the wireless signal of the wireless router.

Because the camera's wireless parameters are modified, the interface prompts you to reconnect the modified wireless signal. Reconnect the phone to the modified wireless signal, as shown in the figure below:

3,APPControl camera shooting

Return to the APP interface, and Click & ldquo; I have connected to the Wi-Fi & rdquo device. On the shooting page, you can view the camera power, or preview the shooting screen. Select & ldquo; camera & rdquo; or & ldquo; camera & rdquo; mode, and click the shutter at the bottom of the page to take the photo, as shown in the figure below:

After taking a photo or recording, you can click the icon in the lower left corner of the page to view the shooting effect. You can also click the icon in the lower-right corner of the page to set camera shooting parameters, such as adjusting resolution and adding timestamps.

When you use the mobile APP to control the camera again, you only need to start the camera, connect the mobile phone to the camera's Wi-Fi, open the APP, and select the camera to start shooting, as shown in the figure below:

III. Answer questions

1Where are the photos and videos taken by cameras stored?

The photos and videos taken by the camera are stored in the storage space of the camera (8 GB built-in memory. If necessary, you can back up the photos and videos stored in the camera to the SD card or mobile phone.

2Can the camera record sound during video recording?

Yes. There is a microphone hole on the front of the camera to record audio during video recording.

3, Mobile phoneAPPCan I view real-time images when controlling camera videos?

No. During video recording, to prevent the body from overheating, disable real-time video transmission.

4Why does the recorded video seem to have poor image quality?

Low-definition videos are used in mobile APP previewing. You can download high-definition videos to your mobile phone for viewing.

5How long can a camera take?

When the camera is fully powered, the video can be recorded for about 30 minutes. We recommend that you carry a charging seat with you to charge your camera in time. When the charging seat is fully powered, the camera can be fully powered three times.

6Can the camera be controlled when the charging station is shut down?

Yes. When the charging seat is shut down, the camera can be switched on and off as long as there is electricity. When the camera is turned on, both the charging seat and the mobile APP can control the camera for shooting, during which the charging seat does not need to be turned on.
