How to use: Start With.....connect by Prior. Where start with the following condition 1 is the parent node's query criteria, connect by prior followed by the condition 2 is the same as the record's parent node in the same child node data.


Example:

SELECT ID,       name as text,       parent_id as ParentID from  tf_sys_t_action ACTION where 1 = 1 and   action.id in (s Elect caction.action_id from                       tf_sys_t_customeraction caction                      where caction.cust_domain = ' 110108 ') START with parent_id = ' 0 ' CONNECT by PRIOR ID = parent_id

Its function is to query the parent node and the data in its child nodes.
