Now the Windows 4.0 system is becoming more and more mature, and the corresponding Server Pack is also upgraded to version. At present, there are more than 20 patches for Windows 2000. If each patch is manually installed, the workload is quite high. This article briefly introduces how to install patches quickly.
For example, when installing SP4, the traditional installation method is very simple. Double-click the SP4 file name and follow the prompts to proceed step by step, but this is very troublesome. Here we will introduce a simpler method:
1. Click "Start> Run", Enter CMD, and switch to the command line mode.
2. Go to the directory where the SP4 file is located and enter "SP4 file name /?", The prompt shown in Figure 1 is displayed.
Figure 1
This prompt lists all the parameter settings of the SP4 patch. Here we select "-U unattended mode" and enter "SP4 file name/U" directly on the command line, the "SP4 file name" here refers to the actual name.
When installing patches such as KB828035 and KB828741, you can also switch to the command line mode by entering "KB828035 /?", The parameter setting prompt is displayed. Here, we select "-passive unattended mode and-do not need to restart after norestart is installed" and enter "KB828035 file name/passive/norestart" on the command line, here "KB828035 file name" refers to the actual name.
Write all the patches in a notepad according to the method described above. Remember to add the corresponding parameters, as shown in figure 2. Save it as a batch processing file, and name it BD. BAT. During use, you only need to double-click the BD. BAT file to automatically add all patches.
