Each teacher will hand in the word electronic manuscript of his paper to our office for unified printing before each exam. But every time we will find that many of the teacher's Test paper format is not in accordance with the requirements of eight open pages, horizontal, divided into two columns, and the page margin settings are various, very not uniform. To do this we have to reset these papers, causing a lot of trouble.
Now, we set a "Uniform Test paper Format" button in Word 2007, just click, you can complete the page Setup work, very simple. If you also encounter similar problems, then you may as well do so.
First, custom button
First create a new Word file, click the Office button in the upper left corner, click the "Word Options" button in the lower-right corner of the pop-up menu, and select "Show the Developer tab in the Ribbon" option in the Open dialog box. When you close the dialog box, the Developer tab is added to the Ribbon.
Click the Developer tab Code feature Group record Macro button, and in the Record Macro dialog box that opens, click the "Assign Macro to" button in the project, as shown in Figure 1.

The Word Options dialog box opens, and the NORMAL.NEWMACROS. Macro 1 item appears in the middle list. When selected, click the "Add" button in the middle to add it to the "Customize Quick Access Toolbar" list on the right. Select the newly added item and click the "Modify" button at the bottom of the list, as shown in Figure 2.

In the Modify Button dialog box that opens, modify the Normal.newmacros. Macro 1 in the Display Name input box below to "uniform quiz paper format" and select a button style in the top list, as shown in Figure 3. When you close the dialog box, the New button is added to the Custom Quick Access Toolbar in the upper-left corner of the word window.

Second, record the macro
When the above work is done, Word automatically enters the recording macro state. Click the dialog Box Launcher in the lower-right corner of the page Layout tab of the Ribbon, and open the Page Setup dialog box.
Click the "Paper" tab in the dialog box and enter "36.8" and "26" centimeters in the paper "width" and "height" input boxes respectively. In the Margins tab, set the top, bottom, and right margins to 2 cm, set the left margin to 4 centimeters, and select the paper orientation to landscape, as shown in Figure 4, as indicated in the. In the Document Grid tab, set the number of columns to 2. When Setup is complete, click OK to close the dialog box.

Now click on the Ribbon "Developer" tab "code" function Group "Stop Recording" button to end the recording of the macro.
OK, now open a document, click the "Uniform Quiz Format" button on the Custom Quick Access Toolbar, and the page of the document automatically turns into our preset format.
