Quidway®S1700 series enterprise network switches (hereinafter referred to as S1700) are the next-generation green and energy-saving Ethernet access switches launched by Huawei. For various applications of enterprise customers, S1700 provides simple and convenient installation and maintenance methods and rich business features to help users build secure, reliable, and high-performance networks. S1700 can be widely used in small businesses, Internet cafes, hotels, schools, and other scenarios.

• New energy-saving design leads low-carbon Communication
  
  The maximum power consumption of each SMB host is less than 20 w, which is equivalent to the power consumption of an energy-saving lightbulb. It complies with the low-carbon communication proposed by the industry. The S1700 adopts the IEEE 802.3z (Energy Efficient Ethernet Energy-Efficient Ethernet) mode and provides low-power idle mode to greatly reduce power consumption. The S1700 adopts a fan-less design, which saves Energy on mute and saves Energy.

  S1728GWR-4P/S1724GIt can provide a maximum of 28/24 ports of the entire machine to provide line rate switching capability, to ensure that the entire machine does not block forwarding. S1728GWR also supports four GE optical ports, which greatly facilitates user expansion and application.
