features 1:arcgis 10.2 with three-dimensional modeling capabilities

The ArcGIS10.2 has CityEngine batch modeling capabilities, using the "Features from CityEngine Rules" tool under 3D analys tools to invoke the rule pack created by CityEngine 2013 (rule pack has rules, The external models referenced in the map and rules), and generate three-dimensional models quickly based on their own 2D data.

feature 2:arcscene documents published directly into web scene scenes

As with Cityengine, the Export to 3D Web Scene tool under 3D Analyst tools can be used to publish Arcscene documents as Web scene scenes directly from ArcGIS 10.2. This scenario preserves property information such as bookmarks, layer symbols, and so on for arcscene documents.

Feature 3: A new Web scene scenario

Unlike the web scene scene scenario published in Cityengine 2012, the new Web scene has the following features:

A) support dynamic water, lighting effects, 3D channel tracking and other effects;

b) Support the comparison of different schemes in the same scenario;

c) support for both the flat view and the global view (WebGL Globe), the data is loaded as a service and highly scalable;

d) Support upload to ArcGIS online to share with others; e) Support 3D thematic map

feature 4: Extended support for three-dimensional formats

ArcGIS10.2 extends support for three-dimensional formats, adding support for the international standard three-dimensional format CITYGML.

Feature 5: Improved overall performance for LIDAR data support

ArcGIS 10.2 enhances support for LIDAR data, generating a Las auxiliary file (. lasx) for each las file, which stores calculated statistics and a new spatial index for each las file, and improves the overall performance of the Las DataSet. This improvement is very effective for larger Las files (for example, greater than 500MB).

feature 6: New "intervisibility" View analysis tool

Visibility of the visual analysis is determined through potential barriers. Potential barriers can consist of any raster, TIN, Multipatch, and extruded polygon or line. Tool analysis results in addition to visual display, but also in the attribute table records, can do further analysis.
