1. The list can be modified, and tuples cannot
2. A string is a sequence of characters
3. Using a shard operation to access a range of elements, the implementation of the Shard operation needs to provide two indexes as a boundary, the first element of the index is contained within the Shard, and the second is not contained within the Shard.
4. If the portion of the Shard includes the element at the end of the sequence, simply empty the last index.
5. Checks whether a value is in a sequence and can use the in operator
