Yesterday found that C disk space is not enough, I want to put the C-disk of things are compressed. This morning to find a tragedy, the computer can not start the normal. The BOOTMGR is compressed appears and then lets me reboot and the same error occurs after reboot.
I do not understand this disk compression is what the goods to promote, compressed system will be slow to run, and there will be other failures.
Failure performance: Boot does not start normally, prompt bootmgr is compressed
Failure reason: The right key to open the C disk property, checked "Compressed this drive to save space", resulting in the disk does not know what is compressed.
WORKAROUND: Operating system disk or USB
Workaround:
1, insert the system disk (if not cd-com or USB running, after the boot Mad press F12. Then choose USB or Cd-com to run it. After entering the WinPE system, open My Computer click on the C Disk right button, "compressed this drive to save space" option to tick off, click "OK". Reboot (PS: This method I have tried, success)
2. Also run from the system disk, open the command prompt in System Recovery selection, and run the two commands "Bootrec.exe/fixmbr" and "Bootrec.exe/fixbool". and then reboot.
