Tracking the above search problems, there are good people to answer and provide the problem of the address of the bug, the current or unresolved state; wait to fix it later oh;

Carefully read the inside of the problem description, pain oneself also encountered the same problem. Fortunately careful, from a reply to find out my solution, is the dry goods AH!!!

Personal understanding is (purely blind, do not care too much), this bug principle is: sound card system automatically check the front of the computer headphone hole, estimated from the inside to get the wrong information and blind set the volume, and from the system behind the audio line to set their own volume, two conflicts, the front panel of the prompt;

The solution is not to let him check the front panel of the headphone hole, set to not connected, will not let this volume hint has been the frame. Hey, have time to go deeper.

Found a workaround that worked for me. I ' ve seen a lot of this issue just googling around and a few different threads leads to "Hda-jack-retask" (evidently a part of Alsa-tools-gui now) as a fix. Install Alsa-tools-gui, run "hdajackretask" and switch the "front green Jack" to "Not connected"

It's not a perfect fix but my system was an HTPC and that Jack doesn ' t get used anyway. Hope this helps.
