MyEclipse CI 4 added support for angular 4, as well as enhanced typescript encoding capabilities. For our darkest dark theme users, you can now easily customize the editor colors!

Upgrade Assist

If you want to upgrade to angular 4, select your angular 2 project, and then click Upgrade Action in our toolbar. Our Upgrade Wizard will upgrade a large number of configuration files and fix some of the code as needed. When the process is finished, we will provide you with a set of manual steps that you may need to complete this procedure.

During an automatic upgrade, you can also use several new quick fixes to update your typescript class and angular template to the angular 4 standard. Note: Some of the quick fixes are currently accessible only from the markers view due to some eclipse limitations.

Document

Document rendering has been greatly improved, and the new version is capable of handling JSDoc and Markdown-based documents, which are displayed when you hover over related elements. This also applies to documents that are displayed for content-assisted proposals.

Inline Templates

Improved support for inline angular templates, we have added support for content assistance, as well as updates to all of the above documents.

TypeScript 2.2

Initial support for Typescript 2.2 has been added to this release. If you are using this version of Typescript, new quick fixes will become available, such as fixes that do not use variables, non-implemented abstract methods, and so on. We will continue to support typescript 2.2 and will support the upcoming typescript plugin.

Darkest Dark

You can now customize the editor colors very simply when using the darkest dark theme. Just jump to Preferences>general>appearance>darkest Dark and choose the color of your favorite editor.

• Fix an issue where the selected text in the Find/replace dialog box is not visible in openSUSE

• Now the new version values the console custom background color

• Improved disassembly view color for CDT

• When Mylyn is enabled, the Project Explorer view displays the appropriate colors

Angular/typescript

• Some angular functions do not work after the agent, in the new version, as long as your agent is properly configured, you have full access to the angular feature

• Fixes an issue in which the Typescript builder makes continuous build loops in some nested project configurations
