1 Introduction to individual files in a virtual machine folder
When you create a virtual machine, the associated files are saved to a folder. My machine is Windows 7, 64 bit, and the path to save is:
C:\Users\User\Documents\Virtual Machines
In this directory, the virtual machine files for each operating system are previously installed. If you do not know the path to the virtual machine files of the installed system, you can turn on VMware and move the mouse to the corresponding location to see the system prompts to find the path.
After entering the virtual machine folder, you will see a variety of suffixes of the file, their meaning details click here: Link
