To train the system developed by the company, I uninstalled IE7 on my computer. I didn't expect many problems with IE, such as: I can't download it, and the right-click function doesn't work anymore, click "about ie" under "help" and there are some boxes for the cross. It seems that the SP3 of IE7 is like a pile of IE6 fragmented components, and it cannot be used normally. However, this problem is solved after IE8 is reinstalled. In fact, I guess it is okay to reinstall IE7. However, internet saying that IE7 is not easy to use and I will not consider it any more. Of course, I have been busy for a long time before I reinstall IE8, for example, uninstall anti-virus software (I'm crying !! My anti-virus software !!); Fix the problem with Super Rabbit (the more you fix the problem, the more you click Save As. No response is returned. Now, a dialog box with cross forks pops up, and the problem is getting more and more strange ); I uninstalled the Super Rabbit (I usually use the other garbage cleanup functions of the Super Rabbit, but it is useless to use it to fix ie. If so many problems occur, I suspect it is on the head ). When I think back to the process of solving the problem, I would rather kill one hundred by mistake and never let it go. It's so bloody... After installing IE8, I solved all the problems. The speed was fast and the method was simple. I couldn't help but wait for several seconds.
All the above nonsense is a foreshadowing. Because of the above process, my word inexplicably reported the title error. But fortunately, it is easier to solve. paste the solution and add a solution link for your convenience.
Microsoft has put forward two solutions to this problem, which are described in detail below.
1. Ignore user settings to start WORD
You can use the/a command to ignore the user settings (that is, do not load the data registry subkeys) to start the wordProgramThe procedure is as follows:
Step 2: Click Start and run to open the run dialog box. Click "Browse" to find the program "winwinword.exe" under the installation directory, and then click "open.
Step 2: Enter the/a command switch at the end of the command line in the "open" edit box, and click "OK" to start word.
2. Delete the registry data subitem
You can also delete the registry data subitem and recreate the default Word template file to solve this problem. The procedure is as follows:
Step 2: run the Regedit command in the "run" dialog box to open the "Registry Editor" window. Expand the Registry item "HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Office \ 11.0 \ word \ data" in sequence, and delete the subitem settings and toolbars under the data item.
Step 2: Find the default Word template file "C: \ Documents and Settings \ Administrator \ Application Data \ Microsoft \ templates" in the default directory "C: \ Documents and Settings \ Administrator \ Application Data \ Microsoft \ templates" saved in the word user template. and rename it.
Step 3: Start word, you can see that the word window can be opened normally.
