"Xamarin Poach series: A major change in Xamarin4.0"

The changes under windows are small, mainly bug fixes, performance optimizations, API extensions.

The biggest change is the Xamarin.ios build host on the Mac. The matching agent software, disappeared!!!!!!!!!!!! Are you kidding me,!!!!!!? Labor overnight upgrade, stay up looking for that build host, you he said upgrade disappeared!

Official means: That agent software is too troublesome, replaced by automatic SSH login recognition, Mac machine once opened Telnet, subsequent clients as long as the corresponding login fingerprint can be connected!!

Equivalent to in VS, a remote login with Mac as the server!! The Egg hurts Oh! ~~~

Then take the Mac's admin user, log in to connect to Mac ..... .....

Xamarin 4.0

• We have do away with the pin-based MAC pairing process. The new Xamarin Mac Agent only requires this Remote Login (aka SSH) is enabled on the Mac.
• The new Connection Manager in Visual Studio would discover, authenticate, and remember your Mac. Moreover, since all communication are tunneled securely through SSH, you are only having to open one, well-known port (i.e., port On your router or firewall.
• There ' s no longer an app to start on the Mac. If you have a compatible version of Xamarin.ios installed, VS would automatically deploy and start the new agent.
