"Broken" Socket

The socket on the bathroom wall is broken. In fact, it has been broken down for several months.

I live in a rented apartment. Two years ago, when I first moved in, everything was normal. One day later, I found that the protruding part of the socket fell half, and the metal Jack was exposed. If it breaks down, there are other sockets in the house. In this case, each time I had to endure the inconvenience of getting my hair dryer in my room after I had to wash my hair, I was always a little stunned.

This morning, I don't know why, or because I can't bear it anymore, I grabbed the hair dryer plug and stuffed it into the broken socket. Result: The house was completely out of power after the fire. Of course, this is because the plug is inserted to an improper position, resulting in a short circuit trip.

I went to work with wet hair. The property sent an electrician to re-connect the device. The family asked him to check whether the broken socket can be repaired. The electrician gave a glance and reached out and pulled the socket. The part exposed on the wall is still a socket.

Originally, the broken socket is only a switch socket. Just unplug it and use the original socket below.

When the socket is "broken", no one has checked it carefully. If this was done at the time, just like the electrician, it would have to be a simple one to fix. The most unacceptable thing is that the switch socket stands out of the wall, and all the other sockets in the house are flat with the wall, we didn't even get our attention. Maybe we thought "the socket was originally installed here"; maybe we thought "this is an electrician"; maybe there are other reasons. In fact, you only need to check a little bit to save the inconvenience of up to half a year. Even if it is really an electrician, we should inform the property from the very beginning and send someone to come for repair.

Think again, why not at work. When a problem occurs, we should first take a good look at the cause and whether there are convenient solutions. If you cannot solve it yourself (resource shortage, limited capacity ......), Inform the responsible person immediately and ask others to solve the problem. It is the worst way to handle this problem. The socket in the house is broken, but it is inconvenient. If a problem occurs during the company's operation, the cost increases, the efficiency decreases, or even the company's existence is compromised.
