And since Mac uses Intel's processor, Mac OS X has been hacked so that it can be installed on a PC, a machine that uses the MAC OS X operating system on a non-Apple device, known as the "Black Apple" (Hackintosh); A machine running the original Mac OS X operating system on a Mac device is called a "white Apple" (Macintosh).

Apple's Apple Global Developer Conference (WWDC2014) on June 2, 2014 10 o'clock in the morning (Beijing time June 3 1 o'clock in the morning) released the OS X 10.10 Yosemite operating system and provided a developer preview download After that, the operating system was officially released at the new product launch in eastern October 16, 2014 1 o'clock in the afternoon (Beijing time October 17 1 o'clock in the morning).

But we are not here today to evaluate the operating system, but to try to load it into the virtual machine. I tried to install the system after the developer preview release, but because the system was too jammed, it was deleted, and the public beta version that was released later was not installed.

Yesterday (October 19) I downloaded the Yosemite CDR format image that was modified by the great God, which is more convenient to install than the original DMG format image. Let me just say the installation process.

Installation Environment:

VMware Workstation 10.0.3

VMware Unlocker for OS X

This tool allows VMware to display installation options for Mac OS X, and it also provides a dedicated VMware Tools for Mac OS X, which currently has the latest version of 1.3.0.

To use: Under Windows Unzip into the Windows folder, right click on Install.cmd, run as administrator. (If you're using Linux, I don't need to teach it.)

After installing the VMware and unlocker unlocking tools, we started the installation.

Next, turn on the virtual machine.

Wait for a while and then go to the Language menu.

After clicking Next, click on the utilities > Disk utility above to partition the virtual hard disk by default.

Click Continue after the partition is complete.

We then edit the virtual machine settings again, loading the Darwin.iso, which is VMware Tools.

If you are unable to set up here in the virtual machine, if prompted to use, right-click on the disc you are using in OS X desktop and select "Eject". After selecting ISO, click on the top menu virtual machine > Mobile device >CD/DVD> connect to load this ISO. After loading this ISO, we started installing VMware.

The installation method is simple, after the pop-up window, double-click "Install VMware Tools", the next step, meet the need to fill in the password where the password is OK. Reboot required after installation.

After the installation, we can see that the resolution is ready to adjust, but some can not automatically adjust the resolution according to the window size.

At this point we will start by referring to the virtual graphics driver and resolution adjustment patches transferred to OS X inside. If you drag, drag, we shut down the machine, edit the virtual machine settings again, enable a shared folder, put the necessary things in, and then in the virtual machine can be opened directly.

Click Preferences in the Finder.

On the "Connected server" hook, you will be on the desktop like me to display the shared folder.

Install these two things, since both installations need to be restarted, so they can be installed at the same time.

After the installation, the two restarts must be finished, if the system pop windows, then follow the system prompts to complete.

After rebooting, the system resolution can be adjusted automatically based on the window size.

The system time zone may be displayed in the case of an incorrect condition exists, set it up for yourself.

At this point, the installation is over. You can use and debug the black Apple as you want. Of course, the virtual machine will not get a more realistic experience like a physical machine, the system memory will be compressed because of the operation of the virtual machine, I installed the virtual machine when the memory consumption is quite high, with the browser brush microblogging is difficult to maintain (of course, my Computer configuration is still relatively backward).
