Horizontal interval
\hspace{Length}: Inserts a horizontal white space interval for the specified distance. \hphantom{text}: Inserts a horizontal space that specifies the width of the text. \hfill: Padding blank. \dotfill: Fills blanks with dashed lines. \hrulefill: Fills the blanks with a straight line.
Example:
1. Center text

\mbox{}\hfill Centered Text \hfill\mbox{}

\mbox{} is treated as a wall support spring, and \hfill is treated as a spring.
2, insert "I am xiazdong" length of Blank

\hphantom{I'm Xiazdong}

Vertical interval
\vspace{Length}: Inserts a vertical interval of the specified length below the current line.
Like what:

First paragraph \vspace{100pt}\par% specify \VSPACE{100PT} to indicate that the current line is 100pt away from the following line. Second paragraph

At this point the first paragraph is more than 100pt away from the second paragraph.
