"Multi-figure" Oracle 11g R2 for windows7 64-bit installation detail process

1, download Oracle 11g R2 for Windows version

This includes two compressed packages: Win64_11gr2_database_1of2.zip,win64_11gr2_database_2of2.zip

2, the two compressed packets to the same directory, that is, "database", and then click the Extract directory under the "setup.exe" file:

Description: The picture is on-line, the process is same, but my installation directory is: D:oracle, the picture is: C:appadministrator

3. In the "Configure Security Updates" window that appears, cancel "I want to accept security updates through my Oracle support" and click Next:

4, in the Installation Options window, select Create and configure database, and click Next:

5. In the System Classes window, select Desktop class and click Next:

6. In the Typical installation window, select Oracle's base directory, select Enterprise and Default values, and enter a unified password of: oracle11g, click Next:

7. In the Prerequisite Check window, click Next:

8. In the Overview window, click Finish to install:

When database creation is complete, the following "Database Configuration Assistant" interface appears:

Select Password management to view and modify the following users:

(1) Ordinary User: SCOTT (password: Oracle)

(2) General Manager: SYSTEM (password: Oracle)

(3) Super admin: SYS (password: Oracle)

When the modification is complete, click OK.

After Oracle completes the installation, the service is registered in the system, and the following two services must be started in the registered service, otherwise Oracle will not be able to use it properly:

(1) Oracleoradb11g_home1tnslistener: Indicates the listening service, which must be turned on if the client wants to connect to the database. The service also works in program development.

(2) ORACLESERVICEORCL: Represents the primary service of a database, named rule: Oracleservice database name. This service must be turned on or Oracle will not be available at all.

B, pl/sql Developer installation Note point:

Before installing Pl/sql, you need to install Oracle clients first.

My system environment:

1, 64-bit Windows 7 flagship

2, 64-bit Oracle 11g R2 DB

3, 32-bit Oracle 11g client (64 Oracle 11g Client Error)

4, Pl/sql Development 9.0.6.1665

Attention:

(1) Pl/sql development do not install in the default C:Program Files (x86) directory, otherwise it will be an error, because the path of this band () can not be resolved.

(2) When an Oracle client installs 64 Oracle 11g clients, starting Pl/sql developer prompts for an error.

Reason: Oci.dll is 64-bit, 32-bit application Pl/sql developer cannot be loaded and can be installed with a 32-bit Oracle client to resolve.
