Method/Step

1. Open the file you want to modify (with Word2010), click "View" above, direct "draft".

2. Then, in the "footnote" category, click "Show Notes" to see the top and bottom two columns,

3. Click on the middle "all endnotes" and then click on the "Endnote separator" and you will find that the original stubborn endnote is now available and can be deleted.

4. If you have a few pages in your reference, then each page has a delimiter at the beginning, then select "Endnote Continuation delimiter", then you can find out, select Delete.
