1. Download Oracle 11g R2 for Windows version
: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/database/enterprise-edition/downloads/index.html
These include two compressed packages: Win64_11gr2_database_1of2.zip,win64_11gr2_database_2of2.zip

2. Installation

Unzip the two compressed packets into the same directory, "database" and click on the "setup.exe" file under the extracted directory:

In the Configure Security Updates window that appears, cancel the I want to accept security updates through my Oracle support, and click Next:

The installation process appears as follows:

After the database creation is complete, the following "Database Configuration Assistant" interface appears:

Select Password management to view and modify the following users:

    • (1) Normal User: SCOTT (password: Tiger)

after Oracle completes the installation, the service is registered in the system, and the following two services must be started in the registered services or Oracle will not work properly:

(1) Oracleoradb11g_home1tnslistener: Indicates the listener service, which must be turned on if the client wants to connect to the database. The service also has to work in the development of the program. (Note: If this listener is not running in the service after the default installation, you will need to receive the Add listening service and then turn on this service!) )
(2) ORACLESERVICEORCL: Represents the primary service of the database, naming rules: Oracleservice database name. Where ORCL represents the name of the database. This service must be turned on or Oracle will not be able to use it at all.

11, after the installation of the test

You can connect using "Start", "Oracle 11g", "Application Development", "SQL Developer" or "SQL Plus" in the application. Note that the first time you use SQL Developer, you will be prompted to specify the path to Java.exe, so don't specify your own java_home (I'm starting to wonder, specifying a JDK6, ending with incompatibility). To use the JDK path below the Oracel installation path.

Of course, if you are not careful, choose the wrong, that is, select the Java_home specified advanced version, the Open SQL Developer error prompts are incompatible, there are ways to solve. You can find the "sqldeveloper.conf" file under the "C:\11.2.0\dbhome_1\sqldeveloper\sqldeveloper\bin" path and open it to find the value setjavahome matches. Delete the following configuration contents. You will be prompted when you save and the read-only file cannot be overwritten. You can save it to the desktop, then go back to the bin directory to remove the file, and then copy the file on the desktop, and then open, re-select Java.exe. It's good to choose right now.

Installation notes for a, 32-bit Oracle 11g Client (win32_11gr2_client.zip):
When choosing an installation type, select Administrator, such as:

The other steps are similar to the installation server side.

B. PL/SQL Developer installation Note:
before you install PL/SQL, you need to install the Oracle client first.
My system environment:
1, 64-bit Windows 7 Ultimate Edition
2, 64-bit Oracle 11g R2 DB
3, 32-bit Oracle 11g client (64-bit Oracle 11g client error)
4, PL/SQL Development 8.0.4

Attention:
(1) PL/SQL development do not install in the default C:\Program Files (x86) directory, otherwise you will get an error, because the path of this band () cannot be resolved. (2) When the Oracle client installs a 64-bit Oracle 11g client, starting PL/SQL developer will prompt for errors. Cause: Oci.dll is a 64-bit, 32-bit application PL/SQL developer cannot be loaded and can be fixed by installing a 32-bit Oracle client.
