SQL Server Top Common scenarios: Paging

Specific usage:

(1) Paging by ID

Select Top Page Size *

From table1

where ID not in (

Select Top Page Size * (pages-1) ID from table1 ORDER by ID)

Order by ID;

(2) Pagination by date

Select Top Page Size *

From table1

where ID not in (

Select Top Page Size * (pages-1) ID from table1 ORDER by date field desc)

Order by Date field desc;

Note: The page size is the number of records displayed per page, and pages refer to the pages.
