Behavior: When trying to configure a static IP address under Win7, a message that "You must install and start the network adapter card" To configure TCP/IP is ejected. NIC model is Intel 82578DM

Cause: Due to a problem with NIC driver installation

WORKAROUND: Reinstall the NIC after uninstalling it in Device Manager

1. Uninstall the NIC in Device Manager

2. Right-click the network adapter, select Scan Hardware Device changes, and automatically reinstall the hardware. The NIC will be installed automatically after the installation is successful and the static IP address can be set through the local connection.
